Sizing Guide

• 10–12 kW: Essential circuits (lights, fridge, some outlets)
• 16–20 kW: Most of the home including AC
• 22–26 kW: Whole-home coverage including EV charger

Transfer Switches

Every generator installation requires an automatic transfer switch (ATS) that safely disconnects your home from the grid before switching to generator power. We install code-compliant transfer switches from Generac, Kohler, and Square D.
